Our Network

A key component of the Active Aging Resource Network is sharing your contact information and active aging-related skill sets with your fellow participants. Your colleagues in the Network can reach out to you – or you to them – to solve problems together, share notes, and move forward.

Our Mission

The period after mid-life careers and, for some, child-rearing presents a major opportunity or potential missed chance for the Jewish community. This life stage has, until recently, been overlooked and under-funded. Program planners and policy makers interested in addressing active aging have generally operated on their own.

Now that is changing: The Active Aging Network is here to help you meet colleagues worldwide who are developing new insights and information about active aging – and looking for collaborators. Now we can work together to meet the challenges of this emerging life stage–and engage or re-engage the active aging population in Jewish and civic life!

The first step is to join the Network by listing your contact information on our Directory and your programs on our Program page. We will bring you information and insights from active aging funders, planners and program implementers—and connect you to colleagues who can compare notes and share learnings about what works and what doesn’t.
