Our Mission

Jewish volunteer group

We can work together to create new active aging programs that engage more people in Jewish and civic life–and change the conversation about aging.

Let’s use this site to connect to colleagues worldwide and share information, insights and ideas about active aging. We’ll share what we’ve learned and what we’ve achieved–and point out what to watch out for when creating active aging initiatives.

We started the Active Aging Resource Network to broaden B3’s mission, focusing on research and consulting to help organizations and funders better understand the active aging landscape and how it affects their community. We also strive to connect people and organizations so that information and insights can be shared. Active aging programming has not (yet) been recognized as a major agenda item in Jewish life, especially on the national and international level. We hope to change that and to encourage sustained investment in this life stage. Our likelihood of success will increase if we connect and collaborate
