Wechsler Center for Modern Aging at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan

We are incredibly excited to announce our first-ever Wechsler Center for Modern Aging Trip to Israel, scheduled for March 20–29. This trip will have a particular focus on our English Overseas volunteer program, a unique intergenerational, cross-cultural initiative in collaboration with the Municipality of Jerusalem that connects Israeli high school students who want to practice speaking English with older adults from the Wechsler Center.

The trip has been planned in partnership with the Jerusalem Municipality. We will tour special sites in Jerusalem and throughout Israel, attend curated lectures and events, and exchange, learn, and connect with the students and their families. While this trip is designed with current English Overseas volunteers in mind, it is also open to other members of the Wechsler Center and greater community, with alternate touring options.
